College Football: Barr leads Bulldogs to upset win

BOLIVAR - Truman State quarterback Jaden Barr had three total touchdowns - two passing and one rushing - Saturday in the Bulldogs' 26-16 victory against 20th-ranked Southwest Baptist.

Barr (California High School), a redshirt-freshman, was 18-of-25 passing for 245 yards. He had a passing touchdown in the first and second quarters, giving Truman State a 23-0 halftime lead.

Barr also scored on a 17-yard run in the final minute of the first quarter. He finished with 12 carries for 17 yards.

Truman State (5-1) will play Saturday at Grand Valley State in a nonconference matchup.
