College Football: Barr leads Bulldogs to win

KIRKSVILLE - Truman State quarterback Jaden Barr passed for three touchdowns and rushed for another score Saturday in the Bulldogs' 31-24 win against the William Jewell Cardinals.

Barr (California High School), a redshirt-freshman, threw all three touchdown passes in the first half. He finished the game 17-of-26 passing for 270 yards.

Barr also scored on a 2-yard run in the third quarter, which proved to be the deciding score in the contest. He carried the ball eight times for 28 yards.

Truman State (6-2) will host Quincy on Saturday.
