College Football: Rowles leads CMU in tackles

FAYETTE - Central Methodist defensive back Logan Rowles posted a team-high 13 tackles Saturday in the Eagles' 73-26 Homecoming loss against Baker.

Rowles (California High School), a senior, had 11 solo stops and two assisted tackles for Central Methodist. He also had a forced fumble and fumble recovery in the third quarter, his first takeaway this season.

Sophomore linebacker Travis Burris (Jefferson City High School) had three solo stops, four assisted tackles and a sack for the Eagles.

Central Methodist (1-8) will play Saturday at MidAmerica Nazarene.
