College Softball: Campbell collects three hits

FULTON - William Woods senior Hannah Campbell went 3-for-4 on Saturday, leading the Owls to a 6-2 win against Central Baptist in their regular-season finale.

Campbell (Russellville High School) had two singles and a triple, her ninth of the season, which ranks No. 2 in the NAIA. She also had two RBI, scored two runs and stole two bases in the win.

In 46 games, Campbell leads William Woods with a .408 batting average (64-for-157) with 45 runs scored (24th in NAIA) and 25 RBI. Her team-high 23 stolen bases also rank 34th in the NAIA.

William Woods (27-20) awaits its opponent in the quarterfinals the American Midwest Conference Tournament, which is set to start Friday.
