California will face Versailles Wednesday night, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the second game of the Class 3 District 13 semifinals at Warsaw High School.
The Pintos opened district play on Friday with a 9-0 win over Cole Camp.
This game against Versailles will be a rematch of an April 22 contest which saw the Tigers (14-7) best the Pintos (13-12) in a 2-1 pitchers' duel.
The other semifinal game features Butler (20-2) against Sherwood (13-10-1) at 4:00 p.m. The Marksmen opened district play with a win over host Warsaw on Friday night.
The winners of Wednesday's games will meet on Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m. in the district championship.
