Boys Basketball: Jamestown 62, Dixon 58

STOVER, Mo. - The Jamestown Eagles overcame an early deficit Saturday to beat the Dixon Bulldogs 62-58, winning the championship of the Stover Tournament.

The Eagles were down 17-12 after one quarter, but they trimmed the Bulldogs' lead to 36-35 by halftime. Jamestown held Dixon to eight points in the third quarter, taking a 49-44 lead into the fourth quarter.

Trenton Barbour was one of three Eagles to reach double figures in scoring, finishing with 17 points and adding 12 rebounds and four blocks. Austin Flippin chipped in 13 points and Isaac Imhoff had 11 points.

Clark Rohrbach and Garrett Wolfe were named to the all-tournament team for the Eagles, while Barbour was selected as tournament MVP.

Jamestown (12-1), ranked No. 7 in Class 1, plays Friday at Prairie Home.
