OG Anunoby wins the tip during at the start of a Jamboree contest between Jefferson City and Fatima on Nov. 21, 2014, at Helias. After two years at Indiana, Anunoby is expected to be a first-round selection in the NBA draft tonight.

OG Anunoby will find out tonight where he will start his professional basketball career.

Anunoby, a former Jefferson City Jay who has played two seasons at Indiana, is expected to be selected in the first round of the NBA draft tonight in Brooklyn.

Most pre-draft projections have Anunoby being selected from No. 13-21.

Sports Illustrated - No. 13 to the Denver Nuggets.

CBS Sports and Bleacher Report - No. 14 to the Miami Heat.

Draftexpress.com - No. 20 to the Portland Trail Blazers.

NBA.com - No. 21 to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

One mock draft - nbadraft.net - has Anunoby falling out of the first round before selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the first pick of the second round.

Anunoby (6-foot-7, 232 pounds) has been called the top prospect with the most questions after a shortened sophomore season due to a knee injury.

Anunoby, projected to be an elite NBA defensive player, averaged 11.4 points and 5.4 rebounds prior to being injured.

It is believed Anunoby will be the first Jefferson City player to be drafted by the NBA since Ron Coleman was selected in the ninth round in 1967 by the San Diego Rockets out of Missouri.

The draft will begin at 6 p.m. and be televised by ESPN.

Anunoby is expected to be in attendance.
