California boys golf finishes second at district

The California Pintos boys golf team placed second April 29 at the Class 2 District 4 competition at Eldon Golf Club.

The team finished with a score of 376. Eldon won the competition with a score of 353.

California's Jordon Geiser finished in seventh place overall with a score of 87. Enoch Dunnaway finished tied for 10th place overall with a score of 94. Christopher Cassil finished tied for 12th place with a score of 95. Jordan Bondurant finished tied for 17th place with a score of 100. Kyle Kirksey finished tied for 25th place with a score of 113.

Geiser, Dunnaway and Cassil all received all-district honors.

The team finished in fourth place at the Tri-County Conference Tournament at Versailles on April 24.

Jordon Geiser finished in fifth place overall and received all-conference honors with a score of 80. Enoch Dunnaway finished with a score of 90; Jordan Bondurant finished with a score of 86. Christopher Cassil finished with a score of 95, and Kyle Kirksey finished with a score of 96.
