The California Pintos boys golf team finished in first place at the Class 2 sectional meet May 6 at Rolling Hills Country Club in Versailles.
The Pintos finished with a score of 344, and Eldon finished in second with a score of 345. Mount Vernon finished in third with a score of 354, and Strafford finished in fourth with a score of 358.
Jordon Geiser finished in seventh place overall with a score of 82, Christopher Cassil and Enoch Dunnaway finished tied for 13th place with a score of 86, Jordan Bondurant finished in 21st place with a score of 90, and Kyle Kirksey finished tied for 33rd place with a score of 97.
