Little Pintos run their first race

The California Little Pintos cross country team ran at its first meet Sept. 7 in Columbia.

The California Little Pintos cross country team had its first developmental meet Sept. 7 in Columbia.

Currently, the team has 19 runners. Five runners were not at the first meet. The meet placed the top eight runners in each age group.

California had three earn ribbons in the 6-8 age group.

Carson Lebel finished in third place, and Moses Bestgen finished in eighth place out of 61 boys. Bralynn Porter finished in eighth place out of 50 girls.
