Mayme Baumgartner

Mayme Baumgartner, 97, of California, MO passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Moniteau Care Center in California. She was born on November 14, 1915 at Centertown, MO the daughter of Harvey C. and Annie E. (Johnson) Murray, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Quentin Miller on March 6, 1935; he preceded her in death in 1943. She married Anthany Baumgartner on February 15, 1964; he preceded her in death in August, 1983. She was a member of First Baptist Church in California, and worked and retired as a book binder for Von Hoffman Press. She is survived by one son, Robert Miller and wife Betty of Linn, MO; one brother, John Murray of California; one sister, Ruth Horn of Centertown, MO; two grandchildren, Randy Miller and Kenny Miller; four great-grandchildren, Robbie, Kyle, Nick and Chad Miller. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Murray and Thomas Murray; five sisters, Ann Swillum, Lula Maier, Sarah Leonard, Flossie Matthews, and LaVerne Wilson; and two infant brothers, Jr. and B.H. Murray. Funeral services were held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, MO. Burial was in Centertown Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Greg Morrow. Memorials are suggested to the Centertown Cemetery Association, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak, California, MO 65018.
