Lloyd W. Wolfrum

Lloyd W. Wolfrum, 89, of California, MO passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Moniteau Care Center. He was born on April 16, 1923 in Moniteau County to John Christian and Belle (Baker) Wolfrum, both of whom preceded him in death. He was married on September 12, 1946 in Kansas City, KS to Jessie V. Elliott, who preceded him in death on February 11, 2010. He was an eighth grade graduate from Walnut Grove and Mt. Pleasant Schools. He worked in the Fertilizer Plant for MFA Agri Service from 1968 and fully retired in 1996. He enjoyed wood working and being around his family. Lloyd is survived by one daughter, Viola Long and husband Kenny of Clarksburg; two grandsons, Forrest Long and wife Carrie of Clarksburg and Justin Long and wife Jessica of Clarksburg; four great-grandchildren, Weston, Ashley, Brent, and Josie all of Clarksburg. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, MO. Burial was in Hickman Cemetery. Officiating was Mr. Jack Bowlin. Memorials are suggested to Moniteau Care Residents Fund c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services 100 S. Oak California, MO 65018.
