Larry H. Barbour

Larry H. Barbour, of California, MO died December 13, 2013 at his home. He was born on March 16, 1938 the son of Herbert and Florence Leonard Barbour. On August 16, 1959 at Friendship Baptist Church Larry was married to Carol Rohrbach who survives of the home. He was a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church where he served many years both as a Deacon and Sunday School Director and sang in the church choir. Larry served on the Board of Education for the High Point School District. Larry was a farmer, worked at Barbour Construction and later owned and operated Larry Barbour Dozing. Larry is survived by two sons: Melvin Barbour and friend Karen Carnahan of Lohman, A. L. Barbour and his wife Amanda of California, MO; a daughter Roberta Elliott with her husband Johnnie of California, MO; daughter-in-law Robin Barbour; eight grandchildren, Cody, Alex and Shelby Barbour, with her fiancée C.J. Bryant, Brandon and Brent Elliott, Kaylena, Karoline and Kenlee Barbour; one sister Lois Marsh, and friend Ron, of Lake Ozark, MO; one brother Robert Barbour, with his wife Carole of California, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were at Windmill Ridge Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scot Thomson officiating, with burial following in the Latham Cemetery.
