Judy Elaine Buessing

Judy Elaine Butler Addison Buessing died on February 9, 2013. She was born May 9, 1944, in Eldridge, MO to Roy Archie and Alice Zelma Grimes Butler. After Judy graduated from Center High School she married Michael Colin Addision on August 4, 1961 in Kansas City, MO. She later married Bernal Buessing. Judy struggled to live with a chronic illness. By the late 1990s Judy settled in Manhattan, KS. About 2006 she moved to California, MO where she continued to live independently. The family left behind to commemorate Judy's life are her mother, Alice Butler, Hermitage, MO; sister, Carol Nussbeck, Liberty, MO; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Gary Nelson, Kansas City, MO; son, Leslie Addison, Garden City, MI: daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Daniel Breshears, Pittsburg, MO; son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Patty Addison, California, MO; grandchildren: Rachel Schoor, Carl Addison, Brent Breshears, Danielle Lawman (and husband Andrew), Kaleb Breshears, Tytus Breshears, Joshua Addision, Brandon Robertson, Bret Robertson; great-grandchildren: Bryce Breshears, Tanar Breshears, Weldon Lawman, Weston Lawman.Judy also leaves several good friends, her Senior Housing community, several brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother Robert Butler, her husband, Bernal Buessing, and one son, Robert Lynn. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland, MO.
