Carol J. Dudley, 76, of Centertown, MO passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at California Care Center. She was born on November 21, 1936 in Dunn County, WI, the daughter of Peter and Elsie (Topp) Weber, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married in Menomonie, WI on May 4, 1957 to Ralph Dudley, who survives of the home. She graduated in three years from high school at age 16 as Valedictorian of the Durand High School in Durand, WI. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in California, and enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as an administrative assistant for Hospital Services Group and Farm Bureau. She is survived by two daughters, Carla Templeton of Jefferson City, MO; Cathy Woods and husband Dennis of California, MO; four grandchildren, Carey Wright, Caitlin Woods, Dana Templeton, and Kelly Woods; one great-grandchild Joslin Howell; and two sisters-in-law Berdena Weber of Menomonie, WI, and Alice Dudley of California, MO. She was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Weber; and one son-in-law Delano Templeton. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in California. Burial was in Centertown Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Martin Hoyer. Memorials are suggested to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Radio Program, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak, California, MO 65018. Arrangements were under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, MO.
