Virginia Lee "DeeDee" Kuhn, 73, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Moniteau Care Center. She was born on November 14, 1939, in rural Boonville, MO, the daughter of Walter Leland and Helen Virginia (McDaniel) Dungan, both of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from Prairie Home High School in 1957 and was married to C. Dale Kuhn at the home of her parents on October 13, 1957. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Church, Jamestown, and enjoyed serving as a Sunday School teacher for many years. For the greater part of her life, she was an office manager, owner and bookkeeper at area agri-service businesses. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years; her daughter, Liane Lynn Kuhn; two granddaughters, Stacy Pierson and Kelsey Parrott, all of Jamestown; two sisters, Linda (Larry) Imhoff, Jamestown, and Betty McKenzie, Overland Park, KS; a sister-in-law, Judy (Denny) Wittenberger, Jamestown; and six nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 28, at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. Burial was in St. Paul's Cemetery, Jamestown. Officiating was Pastor Brian Bish and Rev. Chester Marshall. Arrangements were under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
