Sallie Mae Kiesling

Sallie Mae Kiesling, 68, of California, MO, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO. She was born on April 18, 1945, in Columbia, MO, the daughter of Sam and Sarah (Rogers) Elder. She was united in marriage on September, 18, 1993, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, to Harold Kiesling who survives at the home. She worked as a secretary for the MO Dept of Real Estate, where she retired after many years. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Sallie helped with St. Paul's Daycare and quilted with Annunciation Quilters and Salem Baptist Quilters. She enjoyed playing cards, Bowling League, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary as president, bingo, fishing, Bunco group, and attending her grandchildren's functions. She was a member of the 1963 California High School graduation class. Sallie is survived by two sons, Jase Wingate and wife Julie and Gary Kiesling and wife Heather both of California, MO; three daughters, Christy Beneke and husband Michael of Jefferson City, MO, Deanna Moore of Colorado Springs, CO, and Lisa Crumley and husband John of Blue Springs, MO; two brothers, James Elder of Jefferson City, MO and Joe Haggerty of Philadelphia, PA; and ten grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Dr. Peter Kurowski. Burial at the St Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Radio Ministry, C/O Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak St. California, MO 65018.
