Robert E. Borts

Robert E. (Bob) Borts departed this life on March 6, 2013 at his home. He was born March 31, 1933 son of Daniel and Viola (Brizendine) Borts. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Nadine (Huddleston) Borts, Two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bobby Borts and Kevin Borts & his wife Jenifer. Also his brothers and sisters; Don of Kansas City, MO, Harold of St. Louis, MO, Elsie of Tennessee, Charlene of Jefferson City, MO, Gerald of California, MO, Larry of Jamestown, MO, Jack of Fortuna,MO and Dorothy of Jamestown MO., also five grandchildren, Anthony, Tiffany, Cody, Faith, and Jimmy Borts. Three great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Destiny, and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his mother & father and his brothers, Gary & Jacob (J.H.) and his sisters, Norma and Sharon. His eternal resting place is Heaven. Bob was a member of the Assembly of God church in Marceline, MO. He served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Alaska. Bob retired from Overnite Transportation Company where he had worked for 33 years. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Roll Funeral Home Chapel, California, MO. Burial with full military honors was in the California City Cemetery.
