Otha Walker Kinnear

Otha "Otey" Walker Kinnear, age 93, of Harrisburg, formerly of Monett, passed away on April 30. Otey was born July 28, 1919 in Ottumwa, IA to Otha Walker Sr. and Myrtle. Otey served in the Army Aircorps in Europe during WWII. He married Mary Imogene Garton on May 5, 1944. They owned and operated Ben Franklin stores in Tipton, California, and Monett, Mo before retiring. A celebration of his life was held May 4 at Woodlandville UMC, Rocheport, MO. He will be laid to rest at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
