Lillian L. Colmer, 80, of Boonville passed away on Thursday evening, Nov. 14th, 2013 at Katy Manor Care Center. Lillian Leila Colmer was born in Fairbury, Nebraska, Feb. 13, 1933, the daughter of John Edward Miller and Fannie Jane McKenzie. She had lived in the Boonville area for many years while working at Cargill where she had perfect attendance records for most of the years that she worked. After retirement from Cargill she volunteered as a Foster Grandparent for the past twelve years. Lillian enjoyed playing bingo whenever she could. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Colmer, of Boonville, Margie Fagin, of Columbia and Charlene Bishop of Oklahoma, a brother, Bill Hackbarth of Nebraska, and sisters, Ethal Williams of Boonville, Carol Lee Barber and Agnes Rowland, both of Nebraska, as well as fourteen grandchildren and ten reat-grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Dixie Crocker and son, Kit Colmer as well as three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services for Lillian will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, Nov. 20th, 2013 with visitation being two hours prior to the service, from 6:00 until 8:00. A private family burial will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Lillian's great-grandchildren.
