Dorothy E. Kaiser

Dorothy E. Kaiser, 81, of Boonville, passed away at Lakeview Care Center on Sunday morning, Nov. 24, 2013. Dorothy Evelyn Kaiser was born May 4, 1932, in Bunceton, MO, the daughter of Robert Mersey and Emelie Brokamp Mersey. She married Donald Ray Kaiser in Boonville, Dec. 19th, 1956. He preceded her in death in 1992. Dorothy was a homemaker and had worked as a nurses aid for many years. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed Cardinal Baseball and M.U. football, working puzzles, knitting and keeping track of her large family. Dorothy is survived by her children; Jeffrey Lee Kaiser (Pam) of Chillicothe, Justin "Guy' Kaiser, (Wendy), John L. Kaiser (Joy), Donna Elaine (Randy) Vollmer and Debbie Sue McCreery, (Mike Schoen), all of Boonville, Sandy Ann (David) Griffith of Jamestown and Denise Marie (Eddie) Miles of Bunceton. Her brother, Robert "Bud' Mersey, of Boonville and her niece Jenny Lynn Mersey also survive, as well as twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013. Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
