A Celebration of Life for Robert Gosnell was held Saturday November 9, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Pomona Christian Church Pomona, Missouri, with Marcus Allen and Roger Reid officiating. Bob was born April 23, 1948, to Ray and Juanita Gosnell of Birch Tree, Missouri. He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl of 43 years, Willow Springs and California, Missouri; two daughters, Tobie Self and husband Aaron of Keller, TX and Tessa Sater and husband Chris of Eureka, MO; two grandsons, Logan and Blake Self; two brothers and one sister, Kenneth Gosnell and wife Carmen of High Ridge, MO, Donald Gosnell and wife Stella Marie of Millington, TN, and Carol Benzen and husband Thomas of Pocahontas, AR; along with many cherished nieces and nephews. Bob learned the values of faith, family, and hard work on the family's dairy farm. He applied these principles in his daily life and throughout his 30 years as a UPS driver. He was a graduate of Birch Tree High School, Class of 1966. He served in the Vietnam War, receiving a Bronze Star Valor Medal. Bob was a member of the Pomona Christian Church. He always was willing to lend a helping hand and serve the Lord with gladness. He faithfully supported many charities and organizations: Ozark Food Harvest (http://ozarksfoodharvest.org/), Spirit FM Radio (http://spiritfm.com/), American Family Association (http://www.afa.net/), and the Oak Grove Cemetery Rt 1 187 AA in Birch Tree, Missouri. Contributions may be made to any charitable organization. Interment will be held at a later date in Birch Tree, Missouri
