Kathryn Elizabeth Reuszer

Kathryn Elizabeth Reuszer, 100, of Boonville, MO passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Moniteau Care Center in California, MO. She was born on October 22, 1912 in Moniteau County the daughter of James T. and Emma (Burgie) Alexander. She received a teaching certificate from Warrensburg State Teachers College. She was a school teacher in Lupus, MO before her marriage. She was united in marriage to Norman L. Reuszer who preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1954. Kathryn was a homemaker and longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Prairie Home where she taught Sunday school and Bible School. She enjoyed working at the Prairie Home Fair art exhibit. Kathryn is survived by many nieces and nephews including James and Clarice Alexander of California, MO; Ann and Kenneth Imhoff of Jamestown, MO; Jane and Willard Morton of Montgomery, TX; Carl Wayne Langkop of Springfield, ILL and Charles and Karen Stock of California, MO. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Hugh Alexander and 1 sister, Nellie Langkop. Funeral services were held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the funeral home. Officiating was the Rev. Myron Couch. Burial was in the California City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Prairie Home c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak St., California, MO 65018.
