Eden Kristine Mahoney

Eden Kristine Mahoney, 25, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at home in Virginia Beach. She was born October 24, 1988, in Fort Riley, Kansas, a daughter of Bryan Mahoney, and Gracie Humphrey. She was a 2006 graduate of California High School. She graduated from Coastline Community College with an associates degree in marketing. She had also attended Rockhurst University, and currently attending Regent University. Eden was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Christian, and enjoyed playing with and spending time with him. She enjoyed running, reading, crafts, dancing, and was a music enthusiast loving to sing. Her smile and loving personality will be missed by all who knew her. Eden is survived by her son: Christian Alexander Mills, of Virginia Beach, VA; her parents: Gracie & Ron Humphrey of California, MO, and Bryan & Stephanie Mahoney of Orange Beach, AL; her siblings: Blake Mahoney of Otterville, MO, Landon Mahoney of Orange Beach, AL, Jennifer Willis of California, MO, Michael Humphrey of California, MO, and Jake Humphrey of California, MO; grandparents: Gary & Donna Barnard of Boonville, MO, Carolyn Kirschman of Columbia, MO, Gary Kirschman of Prairie Home, MO, James Mahoney of America Samoa, and Grace Terry of Camdenton, MO; along with numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. A celebration of Eden's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Flag Spring Baptist Church in California, MO with Rev. Ken Chapman officiating. Visiting hours will directly follow the service until 3 p.m. at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Eden's Benefit Fund at Central Bank.
