Evelyn I. Baquet

Evelyn I Baquet,77, of High Point, MO. passed away at Capital Region Medical Center on Monday May 20, 2014. Evelyn was born on November 13, 1936 the daughter of Claude Croy and Sara (Jenkins) Croy whom both preceded her in death. She was married on June 16, 1956 to Loren Baquet at her parents' home who survives her at their home. Evelyn worked as dental assistant for the Denture and Dental Clinic in Camdenton, Mo. of which she managed the facility for over five years. She also worked for Dr. Washburn in Versailles, Mo. while helping work on the family farm. Evelyn was a member of the High Point Baptist Church in High Point, Mo. and was a graduate of Stover High School in Stover, Mo. She is survived by two sons, Gregory Baquet and wife Patty of High Point, Mo. and Geoffrey Baquet of California, Mo.; one brother, Frank Croy and wife Pat of Versailles, Mo., seven grandchildren, Grant and wife Latessa Baquet, Zachary Baquet, Brock Baquet, Geoffrey Glenn and wife Krista Baquet, Janelle LeAnn Baquet and fiance Brad Bernard, Garret Paul Baquet, and Gunner Nash Baquet, one great-grandchild, Henry Baquet. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeremiah Baquet. A Memorial service was held at on Friday, May 23 at the funeral home. Officiating was Pastor Glen Golden. Inurnment will be at the High Point Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Contributions can be made to the High Point Cemetery c/o the funeral home.
