Dustin W. Mullins, 35, of California, Mo., passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was born on January 5, 1981, in Wichita, Kan., the son of Randy Mullins and Debra (Bergman) Mullins who survive in Tipton, Mo. He was married on October 15, 2011, at Summit Lake Winery in Holts Summit, Mo., to Lindsey Stiefermann who survives at the home. He was a member of the Tipton Knights of Columbus 1360, and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City, Mo. He was a graduate of Tipton High School in 1999, and was a graduate of Linn State Technical College in 2010 with a degree in Commercial Turf and Grounds Management. He worked for Mid America Testing and Supply in Tipton, Mo. He loved hunting, fishing, smoking meats, sports, the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and watching his daughter play volleyball. Other survivors include: one daughter, Sincere Mullins of the home; one sister, Emily Heard and her husband (Brad) of Sarcoxie, Mo.; parents-in-law, Warren and Marlene Stiefermann of Jefferson City, Mo.; sister-in-law, Michelle Mosley and her husband (Justin) of Linn, Mo.; one niece, Laney Heard; three nephews, Asher Heard, Cody Mosley, and Jentry Mosley. Rosary was held Thursday, August 18, 2016, at 4:00 p.m., visitation followed from 4:15 to 7:30 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Tipton, Mo. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, August 19, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Tipton, Mo. Officiated by Father Tony Rinaldo assisted by Father Greg Meystrik. Burial was at St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery in Tipton, Mo. Memorials are suggested to Dr. Tamara Hopkins Patient Assistance Fund c/o the funeral home. Arrangements were under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo.
