Rose H. Wycoff

Rose H. Wyckoff, 97, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away March 13, 2016, at California Care Center in California, Mo. She was born in the Plowboy Bend Bottoms, near Lupus, Mo., on September 1, 1918, the daughter of John and Barbara Schull Dietzel. She went to Fairview School. Rose was a homemaker. On February 1, 1941, Rose was united in marriage to Eugene Luther Wyckoff, who proceeded in death on May 14, 1994. She loved working with her flowers, crochet and embroidery. She made lots of quilts in past years. She was a member of Nondenominational Christian Church. Survivors include: one son, Larry Wyckoff (Louise) of Jamestown; three grandchildren, Faith Schumaker, Christina Wyckoff and Joe Wyckoff; six great-grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner McBroom, Chandra and Zachary Owens, Jessie Adams and Colton Wyckoff; one great-great-grandchild, Trinity Paulson; one brother, Everett Dietzel; and several nieces and nephews. Rose was also preceded in death by: her parents and seven brothers, Lee, Ray, Charles, Roy, Earl, Paul and Alvin Dietzel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 9-11 a.m., at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service in California, Mo., with the Funeral Services following at 11 a.m., with speakers George Peterson and Warren Taylor officiating.
