Lloyd H. "Bo" Haworth, 85, of Centertown, Mo., passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Moniteau Care Center in California, Mo. He was born on March 9, 1931, in Forsythe, Mo., the son of John Cyrus Haworth and Nannie Bell (Blair) Haworth, both of whom preceded him in death. Lloyd was married on August 28, 1954, at the Centertown Baptist Church to Wanda McKee, who preceded him in death on June 25, 2007. He received his masters degree from the University of Missouri. He worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor for the Missouri Department of Education for many years. Lloyd was also a head basketball coach at Versailles from 1956-1966. He was a longtime member of the Centertown Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed crappie fishing, quail hunting, farming, loved playing and watching basketball and other sports. He was also a Veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include: one son, James Haworth and wife Kathy of Jay, Okla.; one daughter, Vicki Seal and husband Patrick of Lakewood, Colo.; five grandchildren, Justin Haworth, Krysta Baker, Jamie Sleeth, Matthew Seal, Shannon Seal; great-grandchildren, Wrenley Sleeth, Della and Graham Baker and Beau Sleeth. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Wanda Haworth; five brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will be on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. Phillip Smith. Burial will be at the Centertown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Centertown Baptist Church, c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo.
