Bruce Michael Jobe passed away February 18, 2017. He was born December 27, 1952 in California, Mo., the son of Mary (Isenschmid) and Frank Jobe. On February 22, 1986, he married the love of his life, Lori Schlotzhauer, daughter, of Betty Lou and Milton Schlotzhauer, Jr. of Pilot Grove. They would have celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on February 22. He was the proud father of his daughter, Teresa (Terry) Streit of Pilot Grove and son, Adam Jobe of Lee's Summit, Mo., as well as an honored grandfather of Garrett and Gunner Streit of Pilot Grove. Bruce was a well known farmer, President and Valedictorian of the Pilot Grove Class of 1970 and successful entrepreneur. He was the owner and operator of Town & Country Equipment and Central Missouri Marketing. He enjoyed tractor pulls, welding, traveling the world with Lori and loved farming with his beloved grandsons. He was preceded in death by: his father, Frank Jobe. He is survived by: his wife, Lori; daughter, Terry Streit; son, Adam Jobe and his wife, Bethany; grandsons, Garrett and Gunner Streit; his mother, Mary Jobe Dillner; sister, Vicki McCarrell; brothers, Brian Jobe and his wife, JoLynn, Jerry Dillner and his wife, Paula and Byron Dillner and his wife, Joy. Pallbearers will be, Brad Dillner, Mike Lang, Sean McCarrell, John Schuster, Nate Schuster, Jacob Schuster, Brett Vollrath and David Williams. Honorary pallbearers are, Jerry Dillner, Bill Foster, Nelson Leonard, Joe Eddy Stoecklein, Wendal Wolfe and Bob Zeller. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Pilot Grove Community Church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., at the Pilot Grove Community Church with burial following at the Pilot Grove City Cemetery.
