Gary Dale Fry

Gary Dale Fry, 71, of Tipton, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at the Cooper County Hospital in Boonville, with his family at his side. Gary was one of three children born to Melvin and Ollie Mae Fry in Tipton. He was a graduate of Tipton High School Class of 1963. He was employed by Co-Mo Electric for over 40 years, first as a lineman and later in the office at Tipton. He served as a reserve Police Officer for the City of Boonville as well as Cooper County. Gary was an avid golfer and outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Jimmie Kay Fry; sister, Colleen Keevil and her husband V.A.Gary. He is survived by: son, Randy Fry and his wife Lauralyn; daughter, Kim Bailey and her husband Warner; grandchildren, Ethan and Taylor Fry, Joshua, Jacob, and Jonah Bailey all of Boonville; nephew, Jeff Keevil of Columbia. Visitation was held from 9-11 a.m., Friday morning with Rosary beginning at 9 a.m. Mass of Christian burial for Gary Fry was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2017, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Tipton with burial following in St. Andrews Cemetery.
