Beth Ann Rackers

Beth Ann Rackers, 52, of Boonville, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 07, 2017, at Unlimited Opportunities in Boonville, Mo. She was born on October 12, 1964, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Charles F. and Carol B. (Kueffer) Rackers both of whom survive in California, Mo. Along with her parents, Beth is survived by: her sister, Julie Miller (Doug) of California, Mo., two nieces, Elle and Mari. She is also survived by: many, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Other survivors include: Beth's Unlimited Opportunities family who advocated and cared for her until the end. Beth Ann loved her mom's mashed potatoes on Christmas night and Aunt Mimmy's pumpkin pie anytime. She liked the feeling of being responsible for something or someone and fancied herself to be the "boss" at her workshop. She wanted to be in the middle of it, whatever "it" wascooking breakfast on Sunday morning or up to the table of a hot card game. One of the things Beth's sister did that she was most pleased with was to bring her husband Doug into the family. For over 20 years Doug was Beth Ann's companion on Christmas Eve and Easter morning. This was another one of Beth Ann's favorite things, to stand guard with Doug watching for Santa or the Easter Bunny while the rest of the family was at church. Another source of great joy to Beth Ann was her nieces. She lit up when she saw either of them and she would hang on to every word as they told stories about school, sports, friends, and travel adventures. Without a doubt, Beth Ann is rejoicing in the afterlife where she is free of her physical limitations and looking after her friends and family. For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 Private family visitation and Mass of Christian Burial were held at Annunciation Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Rinaldo and Mary McComb-Kindred officiating. Interment was held at the Annunciation Catholic Cemetery with Fr. Tony Rinaldo officiating.
