Darrel "Bud" Dean Pearson, 82, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on May 20, 2017 at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Mo. He was born on September 28, 1934, in Latham, Mo., the son of Ernest Pearson and Mildred (Coffelt) Pearson both of whom preceded him in death. He was first married on December 13, 1953, to Betty Miller who preceded him in death on June 2, 1993. He later married Kaye DeJager on October 5, 1996, and she survives of the home. Bud retired from California Manufacturing after 44 years of employment. He enjoyed farming and being with family and friends. He is survived by: his wife, Kaye Pearson of the home; two sons, Mike Pearson and wife, Marsha of California, Mo., James Lancaster and wife Elizabeth of Nixa, Mo.; two daughters, Katrina Rowland and husband, Todd of Columbia, Mo. and Mary Louise Buxton of Jamestown; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Foster of Tipton, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: daughter, Marsha Reed; brother, George Pearson and grandson, Kyler Buxton. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, May, 25, 2017, at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Peter Kurowski. Burial will be at the Hickman Cemetery near Clarksburg, Mo.
