Julie Oppermann, 41, of California, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo. Julie was born October 3, 1976, in Jefferson City to Gary Harris and Mary Limbach. She graduated from California High School in 1995, she then attended Metro Business College and graduated with associate degrees in Business Management and Computer Science. On November 19, 1994, Julie married Andy Oppermann at the Lebanon Baptist Church in McGirk, Mo., where she remained a member until her passing. Julie held many job titles over her life, managing the local Movie Gallery, selling Insurance, and being a substitute teacher at the Moniteau County R-1 School District. Her true calling was to her children however; she took a step back from her career for periods of time to focus on raising her children, as a stay-at-home mother. Julie is survived by her husband, Andy Oppermann; four children, Courtney Oppermann of Jefferson City, Tristan (fiancé Taylor Bleich) of Springfield, Ivan and Piper Oppermann of the home; parents Gary and Janice Harris of California, as well as Mary and Mitchell Limbach of Jefferson City; three sisters, Melissa Street, Deborah Francis (Anthony), and Elizabeth Limbach; two brothers, Jason Limbach (Connie), and Josh Limbach (Bridgette); sisters-in-law, Sarah Stewart (Nathan), Beth Miller (Marc), Laura Jones (Jonathan); and 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Melvin and Verna Harris, Arthur Mengwasser, Agnes Mengwasser Haslag, and her brother-in-law, Keith Street. Funeral Services were conducted on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Jeremy Barnard officiating.
