Kathy Kay Liebi

Kathy Kay Liebi, 61, of Boonville, Mo., passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Kathy was born on May 18, 1956, in Boonville, Mo., the daughter of Charles Edwin and Geraldine Elizabeth (Chenault) Knorp who preceded her in death. She was married on June 11, 1988, in Boonville, Mo. to Arthur Liebi who survives of the home. Kathy was a registered nurse for several years for Cooper County Health Department and retired as the school nurse from Boonville School District. Kathy loved her family and friends, and enjoyed having fun. She will be missed truly missed. Other survivors include: one daughter, Elizabeth Schler of Boonville, Mo.; two sisters, Charlene Reichel (Mickey) of Boonville, Mo. and Karen Gast of Boonville, Mo.; three grandchildren, Trey Schler, Liebe Schler and Charles Schler and one niece, Laura Herigon (Keith) of Boonville, Mo. She was also preceded in death by an infant step-son, David Thomas Liebi. Visitation was held on Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Open Bible Praise Center, 16991 Hwy. 87, Boonville Mo. Funeral services followed at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Randy Richards officiating. Burial was in New Salem Cemetery near Prairie Home, Mo.
