Paul Cook, 57, of California, Mo., passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. Paul was born on June 24, 1961 in California, Mo., the son of Charles P. Cook and Earlene (Elliott) Cook, both of whom preceded him in death. Paul was united in marriage on December 9, 1978 in Grandview, Mo. to Donna (McCubbin) Cook, who survives of the home. Paul worked at Putnam Chevrolet for many years. Paul was a lifelong Batman fan. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing sprint cars, woodworking, building cabinets, hunting with his bird dog Cody, and most of all spending time with his kids and grandkids. Survivors include two sons: P.J. "Perry" Cook and his wife Michelle of High Point, Mo. and Jeffrey Cook and his fiancée MiKaela Draffen of California, Mo.; one brother: Chuck Cook; one sister: Elaine Gordon of Raymore, Mo.; five grandchildren: Destiny Cook, Brady Cook, Cayden Cook, Austin Cook and Easton Cook. He was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Earl Cook. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. with a Memorial Service immediately following at 7 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo. Officiating will be Bro.
