Curtis R Katschman

Curtis R. Katschman Sr., 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. He was born in California, Missouri and was a resident of Carrollton, Va. for four months. He retired from General/Continental Tire Company in 1992 after 25 years as a sales representative. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yorktown, Va. and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Betty Katschman; son, Curtis R. Katschman Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Scott; extended family, Doug McCall (Pat), Linda Brown (Rick), Sharon Pierce (Ronnie), Connie Asby (Jeff); nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Curtis was preceded in rest by his first wife, Alice Bryant Katschman; his parents; five brothers; and three sisters. A Celebration of Curtis' life was held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church in Yorktown, Va. Interment with honors was rendered by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
