Adin Henry Kilmer
Adin Henry Kilmer, age 84 years, of Versailles, Mo., passed
away on Sunday, August 11, 2019.
Adin was born on December 10, 1934, in Brutus, Michigan, the
son of Martin Z. and Mary (Brubacher) Kilmer, both of whom preceded him in death.
Adin was united in marriage on January 16, 1958, in New Holland, Pennsylvania to Annie Z. Newswanger who survives of the
home.
Adin was a member of the Excelsior Mennonite Church of the
Groffdale Conference. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include: four sons, Norman N. Kilmer (Vera) of
Barnett, Mo., Adam N. Kilmer (Erma), Martin N. Kilmer (Wilma)
and Ernest N. Kilmer (Edna) all of Versailles, Mo.; four daughters,
Mary Martin (Clement) of Latham, Mo., Alice Newswanger (Floyd)
of Versailles, Mo., Minerva Martin (James Ivan) of Barnett, Mo.,
and Martha Newswanger (Elvin) of Fortuna, Mo.; three brothers, Eli
Kilmer of Denver, Pa., Harvey Kilmer (Judy) of California, Mo.,
Rufus Kilmer (Martha) of Latham, Mo.; a brother-in-law, Randy
Baker of Joplin, Mo.; four sisters, Lydia Sauder (Enos) of Latham,
Mo., Nancy Ramer (David) of Nippecanoe, Ind., Fannie Martin
(Eddie) of Mapanee, Ind.,Amanda Burkholder of Rochester, Ind.; a
sister-in-law Ella Kilmer of Versailles, Mo.; 52 grandchildren and
62 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: two brothers, William and Menno
Kilmer; a brother-in-law, Levi Burkholder; three sisters, Emma
Kilmer, Lucinda Baker, and Anna Mary Kilmer; two sisters-in-law,
Irene Kilmer and Lena Kilmer; and a grandson, Joshua Ivan Martin.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2019,
from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Martin Kilmer's home. Funeral
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at
Excelsior Mennonite Church in Versailles, Mo. with Daniel Newswanger, Walter Martin, Leonard Martin and Harry Leinbach
officiating.
