Louise (Lipscomb) Meyer

Louise (Lipscomb) Meyer, 87, of California, MO, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Brookdale North Gilbert in Gilbert, Ariz. She was born on August 20, 1931, in rural Boone County, the daughter of Basil and Nettie (Conley) Lipscomb, both of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from Harrisburg High School and later married Richard D. Meyer February 14, 1953, in St. Louis, Mo., he preceded her in death on August 19, 2012. Louise was a member of the California United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and tole painting. Louise is survived by three daughters, Diane Louise Meyer and husband Robert Tate of Chandler, Ariz., Janis F. Lane and Sue Meyer and husband Mike Hansen all of Ramseur, N.C.; one stepdaughter, Glenda Joyce Nelson and husband Richard of Kearney, Mo. Louise was preceded in death by her stepson Richard D. Meyer and two brothers. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019, all at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Eugene Moeller. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Sedalia Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association c/o the funeral home.
