Judy Kay McGill

Judy Kay McGill, 57, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019. She was born on October 8, 1961, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Herschel and Peggy (Jenkins) McGill. Judy attended school at California R-1. Judy loved dancing (especially with Randy), bowling, shopping, and loved her family and friends. She always left a special place in everyone's heart. She will be remembered by her sister, Jana Senior (Bruce) of Jefferson City Mo., Christy Jones (James) of Blue Springs, Mo., Trudie McGill of Sedalia, Mo.; and brother, Steve McGill of Phoenix, Ariz. She was loved by her nieces and nephews, Jamie Miller (James), Jessica Jordan (Dave), Ryan Jones (Lacey), Kyle Jones, Brittany Jones, Caleb McGill, and Elizabeth McGill, along with great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and adopted grandmother Joyce (Joycie). She will be greatly missed by her family at the Delaware Group Home where she resided. They were a big part of her life. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel McGill and Peggy (Jenkins) McGill; her brother, Jackie David McGill and sister, Kimberly Susan McGill. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m., both at the funeral home. Eulogist will be Dennis Peake. Burial will be at the California City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Down Syndrome Guild of Central Missouri 303 North Stadium Blvd., Ste. 207, Columbia, MO 65203.
