Durham School Services teamed up with the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri to host 'Stuff the Bus' April 4-8 at California Elementary School, where a total of 460 pounds of food items were collected to benefit Moniteau County and the Buddy Pack Program at CES.
"We ended up with 22 boxes of food, so we did great for our first time," Durham School Services Bus Barn Supervisor Nancy Schatzer said. "Almost every seat in the bus was full. We're so thankful for the support of everyone in Moniteau County and hopefully they will be just as forthcoming the next time we host this event." The Food Bank, along with committed partners like Durham School Services, helps feed 97,000 people each month.
