Santa and one of his elves hitched a ride on the back of a firetruck in the Prairie Home Christmas Parade, then stopped by the Prairie Home School gymnasium to visit with area children and pass out goodie bags.

The annual Prairie Home Christmas Festival was held Saturday, which included the annual parade and a visit from Santa and one of his elves, as well as numerous activities at Prairie Home School.
