What appears to be a stream good for fishing is actually residential yards bordering a storm water channel in the city after the sudden drenching rain on Friday, March 4.

A sudden storm hit Friday afternoon, March 4, drenching the area with heavy rain, accompanied by small hail and heavy wind. Most of the 1.05 inches of precipitation reported fell within a few minutes, quickly flooding several areas of Business 50 in California and overwhelming the drainage systems in the city.
