California School Buses Receive Over 90 Percent on Inspection

Every year inspectors from the Missouri State Highway Patrol inspect buses all over the state. No school bus can haul children if they are not ruled safe during the inspection. During the inspections everything from fuel leaks, exhaust leaks, suspension and brakes among other things are checked. Durham School Services is contracted to supply the buses for the Moniteau County R-I School District. Wednesday, Feb. 2, the Highway Patrol inspected the buses in town as well as some surrounding towns at the California bus barn. The California fleet received a grade of over 90 percent this year. In previous years, this would mean earning a fleet excellent award which the fleet received the past four years.
