California loses district championship to Skyline
After defeating Iberia 59-33 in the first round of the Class 3 District 10 Basketball Tournament Feb. 28 at Cole Camp, the Lady Pintos, seeded second, went on to defeat Eugene 52-44 in semifinals Wednesday, March 2, to advance to the championship game Saturday, March 5, where California fell to top-seeded Skyline 46-32 to end the season 17-7.
