Prairie Home hosted the Class 1 District 7 Academic Bowl Tournament April 14, where Prairie Home finished in third place. Columbia Independent finished in first place, while Pilot Grove placed second. PHS students who participated, front row, from left, are Josey Stevens, Damon Wendt and Dennis Imhoff; middle row, Tara Vonder Haar, Sarah Gipson and Melanie Bryan; and back row, Sam Distler, Josey Wright and Cecelia Wright. PHS senior Josey Stevens was named to the All-District team, as he finished in fifth place individually.
