Hoping to have the new "Wet Deck" ready for use by Independence Day, City of California employees put down the concrete surface. The "Wet Deck" kit was approved by the California City Council at the June meeting to be installed in the general area of the old kiddie pool. A dozen nozzles on a flat surface spray water for enjoyment of the younger set.

City employees were hard at work last week on the Wet Deck approved for installation by the City of California Board of Aldermen at its June 4 meeting.
