The driver of the pickup in the foreground died after crossing the center line and striking the poultry transport truck head-on on Highway 50 on the hill just west of Stockhaven Road. The highway was closed for several hours while the site was cleaned up and th accident investigated. The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries.
