California Police sought help from Boy Scout Troop 120 to solve a mock murder at City Hall on Oct. 22. Officer Dale Embry, above right, and Lindell Reed led scouts to the crime scene, at far right, where they were allowed to survey the area. It was apparent there had been a struggle, and evidence later suggested the female suspect, who had a large shoe size, fled on foot. Once the murder was solved, scouts hiked back to the Scout House at Proctor Park in time for a closing flag ceremony. The boy scouts extend thanks to Officers Embry and Reed, as well as "victim" Tyler Embry, who later made a miraculous recovery!
