Winners of the California Middle School Spelling Bee held Wednesday, Feb. 13, from left, are eighth grader Trevor Hall, first place; sixth grader Cheyanne Harper, second place; and seventh grader Mercede Nations, third place. Each received a trophy provided by Creative Awards. Hall will represent CMS at the Regional Scripps Spelling Bee March 6 at Columbia.
