Work is underway on the addition of the Moniteau County Historical Society building. When completed, the new addition to the west end of the building will be about 60 feet long. The additional space for the genealogy and research library is much needed to house the growing size and increased use of the genealogical collection. A recent donation of genealogical material from a former member will be added for use and other items, such as photographs, will be placed in suitable and visible places in the new wing.
